Longano Da Tarantino - CAPRI

We didn't enjoy our dining experience here. There wasn't much good about this restaurant. The manager converses with er staff by screaming and shouting at her staff, apparently unaware that some patrons are being disturbed by her constant rantings. The food took ages to arrive. The chicken salad had very dry chicken pieces and the pasta was tasteless. The service was below average and all in all, this was not a good experience!

After last nights dining nightmare we checked trip advisor before we ate here! We had discovered this restaurant at the end of our natural arch hike. The aromas were exquisite. Tonight we ordered the Ligure a pesto tomato and Sorrento nut pizza and a grilled eggplant and Parma ham pizzas. Our server was very knowledgeable and made an amazing wine suggestions. We loved our food and this dining experience. Best food in Capri.

Big mixed fried plate and pizza with buffalo mozzarella but none of them was my cup of tea. The frittura all’italiana was very greasy and the dough of montanara and pasta cresciuta so heavy! The pizza had a strange taste I do not know if it was coming from The tomato or mozzarella. But the ingredients were not good. It’s a cheap place if you compare with the capri standard, but i do not recommend it. Such a pity to eat a bad pizza in the country of pizza!

On a tour of Capri and our tour guide brought us here for lunch. I was happy to see that there was gluten free food, being a coeliac. But there wasn 't. Or should I say, there wasn 't for our group. We were getting a deal of main course and dessert with a glass of wine for €16. Full menu not available to us. I asked was there gluten free options and got a flat no as an answer. The staff were outright ignorant and rude. One of out group told a waiter that she couldn 't eat the fish she was served because it was overcooked and hard. The waiter just took her plate and never offered an alternative. Then there was a row when she refused to pay for it because she didn 't get a main course. The food was terrible overcooked and skimpy. All the staff were useless, ignorant, rude and disrepectful. I will never darken their door again and would not advise anyone to go there.

Popped in here whilst visiting the island with my daughter. We sensed a strange atmosphere as soon as the waitress directed us to our table with a grunt. We both opted for pizza. Mushroom for my daughter and Italian sausage for myself. When they arrived you could tell they were way undercooked and incredibly greasy. I echo another review when they say the toppings are from a can. I think my Italian sausage came from a can of dog food, absolutely vile. The base was all doughy, stodgy, slimy and raw. The ‘cheese’ was allegedly cheese but I beg to differ. Where I dare to point out how undercooked, greasy and disgusting it was the waiter advised me not to drink beer with pizza. One small bottle of peroni. Don’t waste your money here. We were robbed of over €60.
