Sostanza - Cape Town

I had very good experience in Sostanza; our waiter, Lucas, was friendly, about the different types of bread and very polite. Breakfast was generous and fill My girlfriend couldn't finish her salmon and avocado omelet even though it was so good. I never had beer like us breakfast, but they have a good choice of craft beers, wines and spirits. Overall, it is a beautiful cooled place.

Recently visited Lakeside and were told about Sostanza by the owners of the house we stayed at. Got to say that the food and the atmosphere were really bang on. We had dinner one evening and the following day we called in for brunch. On both occasions the food was excellent but the best thing about it was the staff. Everybody who waited on us were polite, courteous and friendly and were a credit to the restaurant. Well done to everyone and thanks for a great experience.

Decent pizzas. Great staff and atmosphere. They sell some fantastic focaccia bread and you can do pizza take away if you want.

Great restaurant with a lovely kids area. The area was not full. It was airy and while there weren't a lot of toys,my kids had a great time. The high chair came in useful as well. The pancake was great, but the cheese, ham and tomatoes toasted sandwich weirdly came in 4 pieces of ciabatta. I enjoyed it and we'll be back again
