German Club - Cape Town

With more than enough secure parking, the Deutsche Club is a convenient location to meet with friends for beer, food and entertainment. It has its own bar and you can choose to sit inside or outside. There is a restaurant that will eat familiar food like Beef Burger with Fritten. They serve coffee and a selection of teas.

We had a company event there to use their 'bowling alley ' and have food supplied. The alley has had zero maintenance for about 10 years and the balls are chipped and dangerous, do not go there for the bowling alley. The food was basically deep fried from the freezer and not great at all.

We wanted to see the Bayern game and thought the German club might just be the place to do so. The screen is nice and big but German beer was not available. The alternative that has been served was flat beer, which we returned. The food was okay but took to long . It was smoky and hot inside and to top it of they added one beer to many to our bill and wr were told (after we ate) that they accept cash only . I hope they just had a bad day, but I won't take people there again any time soon .

No clean, needs renovations, doesnt smell fresh... Servixe is not up to scratch.. Needs new furniture... Atleast there is parking

Worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Waiter repeatedly forgot about our food and then became very rude when questioned about why our food still hadn't arrived even though the rest of our table had already finished eating over 30 minutes ago. Waiter just kept telling us to wait and be patient. Owner of the restaurant was too busy playing cards with his friends to even realise or care about what was going on. Ours was not the only table that this happened to. Absolutely would not recommend. Food was average when it did finally arrive.
