Oyster Bay Restaurant Bar - CAPE MAY

We really enjoyed the meal at Oyster Bay. We ordered the grouper and swordfish among other things. Every dish was spot on! The drinks were great too. A quiet refined atmosphere with great service and great food!

How do you get rid of The filet with lump crab meat and bernaise sauce that you served forever. Been going there for 25 years. Won’t be back

To start off the greeter was not customer friendly, to book a reservation we had to do it online, which was a hassle, when we thought we booked it, apparently the greeter said we did it incorrectly. Not user friendly. Our waiter Bill, was good we liked him and provided good service. Very good and attentive. The food the food was subpar and below average. We ordered the Hanger steak, fried calamari, it did not seem fresh, not tender and not to our liking, one of the worst we ever had, the short ribs, which was decent, pricey, but not worth the price, the fried duck, the duck was okay, not up to the reviews, a bit disappointing. The Mahi Mahi was pretty good, seemed fresh. Overall we would not come back again.

Best restaurant in Cape May! We traveled from Sea Isle City to Cape May just to visit Oyster Bay, and it exceeded our expectations! The fried Grouper sandwich was amazing! My son had a full plate of calamari, and the fillet, which he ate both of! My wife had the scallops, and my girls had salads! Drinks were perfectly crafted and the wine list was solid. I don’t review a lot of restaurants, but if you’re anywhere in South Jersey, this is the place to go! We’ll be visiting again before summer ends!
