Broussard's Cajun Cuisine

Sat at the bar, there were 4 more patrons also seated at the bar. To say the bartender was busy would beat stretch. My drink was empty before I had my 3rd bite of my meal. It remained empty until I just pushed my plate away. Not once did the bartender ask could he get us anything. Needles to say I couldn't finish my meal so we payed and left.

The bartender was extremely nice and offered me a sample of something when I was trying to decide between two dishes.

The catfish dinner was stupendous. The satisfyingly crunchy batter surrounded a moist, flaky fish filet that literally melted in your mouth... an absolute party of the senses.What can be said about the sausage and chicken etouffee that has not already been spoken? A glorious dish of succulent, moist chicken that left a delicious mouth feel that can only be described as magical!The crawfish Po Boy was nummykins.

Food was ok. We ordered loaded fries, but they were cold, literally. Took a while to get someone's attention to get some fresh, but the new order was much better. The fried gator was very good. The fried fish was ok. The loaded baked potato was ok, but lacking.

We has the best 1st time eating at the cape,mo location. Our waiter Hunter L was fabulous.. he went above and beyond to help our family celebrate our daughters win at her track meet where she mde to sectionals. We will definitely be going back ?
