Umi Sushi House - Cape Coral

I ordered sushi through Grubhub and ended up with severe food poisoning after my meal. I had sushi rolls for dinner, and I honestly don’t know how I managed to get through it. I was seriously considering a trip to the emergency room because I’ve never felt that unwell before. Fortunately, I had some medication to help with the food poisoning, which provided some relief. I strongly advise against ordering from this restaurant; it’s simply not safe.

I didn’t actually visit this restaurant, but since the map indicates I did, I’m giving it a one-star rating.

I absolutely love fresh raw fish, and Umi Sushi certainly lives up to my expectations. The fish here is incredibly fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to sit at the sushi bar and get to know the staff. Thank you, Umi team! P.S. They're closed on Tuesdays—learned that the hard way!

Umi is awesome. The tuna pizza and tuna dumplings are my go to favs. The Okinawa app is a 10/10 must try as well as the sashimi rolls. Everything is always fresh and presented beautifully.

Sushi is good here and competitively priced. Condiments here such as soy sauce are not the best (cheap off brand, spicy mayo was ok).
