フィードバックを提供するOur first visit to Silvio's started with an order of Arancini. The dish was overwhelmingly bland, and I would not order it again. I'm on the fence about the Italian Meatball Sub we tried. On the one hand, the meatballs were tasty, and the sandwich had a really nice crusty roll. However, Silvio's marinara is pretty lackluster, and I felt like the sandwich could have used more cheese. The Fettucine Alfredo was the star of the meal. The sauce was more cheesy than creamy, which made the dish less heavy. I really liked the chicken we added to the pasta dish. It was juicy and flavorful. I would order the Alfredo again.
BRAVO!!! I've never had a more gastronomical celebration of flavors, Selections and creative dishes in my life. Although traffic and distance would slow me down, Silvio's will be a regular in our lives. The staff were incredibly attentive. The chef amazed us with his genius. I had the orange roughy special. A ricotta pie Another amazing dessert...a light pizza filled with fruit , Nutella custard. Wow
This family owned and run Italian spot right next to Busch 's has flavors that will make you think you 're in Napoli... or maybe Brooklyn... or South Philly. No matter where you hail from, the menu cries out Molto molto bene, mangiare! Whether you dine in enjoy a fantastic selection of wines and well-stocked bar or take an order to go, you better stop looking and go here. Since moving back to Michigan from the East Coast, Philadelphia, the city certainly known for its Italian food and culture (there 's a restaurant and every corner out there), I haven 't had a chicken Parm that flight got it perfect. An Italian American classic, Silvio, Phil, and Fran have it spot on. If you 're looking for something more traditional, the gnocchi and more than a few pizzas offer something authentically Italian. This is the place you are looking for. The burger is low key delicious too, just in case you 're in the mood for one.
Silvio is a native Italian who grew up in a family bakery. He runs the kitchen every day, while his daughter and her hubby run front-of-house. The food is all from scratch, and top notch. Worth a special drive, and if you live in the area, you should support regularly. A fine bar with excellent choice of draft beers, wine, and liquor, but not a craft cocktail scene. A true family-owned -run restaurant, and a rare one with a full bar service. Join me in supporting this local jewel!
I've eaten here a few times after shopping at Busch's grocery store since it's adjacent to the store. It's solid and the drinks are delicious. The server I always seem to get Phil) is the friendliest guy ever and he does a really great job of being attentive but not overbearing. He makes this place special. I usually order the grilled lamb- cheese balls with sauce and the lemoncillo martini... and this is a nearly perfect meal just need to add a salad)
