Gervasi Vineyard Italian Bistro

The Bistro is a very classy establishment with the best service and exquisite menu options. Brad took excellent care of us for our Sunday, New Year's Eve Brunch. I highly recommend the Bistro and all of Gervasi property establishments.

We had a wonderful dinner at the bistro once again. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was quick and friendly. Our appetizers—Perogies, meatballs, and mussels—were outstanding. The walleye dinner was average, but the pork chops were very good, and the seafood pasta was excellent. We will definitely return!

The atmosphere was pleasant, with soft music and low chatter, and the food was enjoyable. However, the service and the quality of the food didn’t quite match the prices. We felt rushed during our meal; within just an hour, we had already finished two rounds of drinks, an appetizer, and our main courses. The staff even asked if we needed to take our meals to go just seven minutes after they were served, while we were clearly still eating. I understand the fine print of our reservation mentioned a 1.5-hour limit for the table, but since we had only been there for one hour, it seemed unnecessary to rush us to settle the bill. I’m uncertain if I’ll return.

Being our first experience at The Bistro we had an extremely wonderful experience. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the ricotta spread, the filet and the salmon rustico. Every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor! Our waitress also surprised us with a small treat of ice cream for our birthday celebration making the visit even more special. We can't wait to go back!

Requested seating by the window or fireplace as we were first dinner seating. Taken to the basement without windows without a fireplace on our side. Told by 2 different employees that they had call-offs and low staffing. Spent $200 for 3 people, not impressed overall. Staff should be trained to not disclose staffing problems with customers.
