フィードバックを提供するWe always choose The Huntsman for dining out. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The Apple Crumble with Custard is always a favorite.
This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and a group of 14 of us went for a birthday dinner. We tried a variety of roast dishes, all of which were served piping hot with generous portions and delicious flavors. The service, especially from Jacaline, was outstanding.
We had heard great things about this restaurant and were warmly welcomed when we arrived early. Our server, a lovely Irish lady, provided excellent service. However, we were disappointed to find that some menu options were unavailable, limiting our choices. Two of us ordered the beef dish and found it to be of very poor quality. It was tough to cut and even tougher to chew. When we complained, we were told it was because the beef was cooked well done, but no effort was made to rectify the situation. The portion size was also quite small, with the vegetables being average and the cauliflower cheese being unavailable. On a positive note, the desserts were delicious and freshly made. Overall, it was a cheap lunch but with poor quality food. The server and desserts were the highlights of our dining experience.
The food we ordered was inedible, really greasy and hardly touched it and if we had of been offered anything else we would of had to of said no as it seems that it's all deep fat fried and I don't think they have ever heard of a salad. The whole place is very run down and dated and the toilets are enough to put you off and if you're lucky enough to experience meeting the landlady that's un savoury too. Definitely wouldn't recommend or go back
Myself and Partner absolutely love the Huntsman! And definitely recommend a visit! Everyone is welcoming, friendly and the Gorgeous food is a big bonus! The Sunday Roast is definitely a must! Plus not forgetting such Dog Friendly Pub!
