Costa Coffee - Cannock Chase

A Girl Called Hayley Served Me And She Was So Ride , She Had A Really Bad Attitude And Didn’t Smile At All , I Was Very Disappointed With This As It Was My First Time Going To This Costa

This Costa Coffee shop is just like any other you'll find. The hot drinks are great, but the premises could use some sprucing up. The staff is friendly and provides good service.

We stopped at this restaurant for a couple of coffees after our long canal walk. It was clear that they were just reopening after lockdown. They had good social distancing measures in place as required by the government, making us feel safe. The coffee was good and they had a limited menu. Our only complaint was that it seemed like the air conditioning wasn't working properly or wasn't turned on, as there were a lot of flies flying around. This was a bit off-putting, but given the current circumstances, it was a minor issue.

I went to pay a visit in this Costa on Friday where the town was pretty busy that evening and the Xmas lights were being switched on. I witnessed an awful experience where a man and a lady in her wheelchair where entering. As her husband held the door this gentleman went to enter the premises not realising the lady in the wheelchair. Her husband was very rude to the gentleman and he profusely apologised not realising what he had done. He even had the decency to apologise to the lady in the wheelchair and held the door open for her and showed remorse and again apologised to the couple. Obviously she didn't have the decency to say thankyou and accept his apologies. But what was upsetting was as the gentleman went to enter the premises the husband slammed the door in the gentleman's face which was very unpleasant and also totally uncalled for. The gentleman didn't react and was clearly upset and just walked away. That persuaded me not to enter the premises considering everyone in the town were enjoying themselves. There was no need for that to happen but unfortunately things like this do happen no matter where you go.

I frequently visit this restaurant and often pass by it. It is a typical Costa establishment with delicious food and drinks. The standout feature, though, is the consistently cheerful and friendly staff. They always greet you with a warm welcome and infectious happiness.
