Fantino - Cancún

Excellent fine dining restaurant in the Kempinski Cancún. The menu is predominantly Mediterranean, but has a wide variety. The service is excellent and the decor is elegant.

Excellent from the presentation, ambiance, service, and of course the taste. Easily one of the best modern Mediterranean places I've experienced. If one ever stays at the Kimpinski, this is an absolute must.

Try the rack of lamb, great wine list, the service is incredible, seriously try the lamb, the baclava is really good, or the chocolate fondant

This was my favorite meal in Cancun, because the food and service were both so wonderful; the staff was impeccably attentive, and the food beautifully presented. My mother and I each had the tasting menu, and everything (everything!! , from the two amuse bouches to the parmesan soup to the fillet with wine reduction, was perfect. Nothing was a brand new revelation of flavor, but everything was the *best* version of flavors I had tried. They also closed with giving us a rose, and although we had walked in feeling tired, my mom and I both felt restored with happiness after we left. Photos: my mom in the formal dining eoom.
