Northland And Lounge - Canaan

We eat here often in the summer months. In my opinion they have the best food in the north country. Seafood on Tuesdays and Fridays is my favorite. Chicken parmigiana is out of this world as well. We like the atmosphere of the attached sports bar (Timeout Pub) which utilizes the same kitchen and menu. Owners are on site all the time to ensure quality and proper atmosphere. This place puts out consistently great food across the menu.

Great stop! Friendly atmosphere, great service, and a variety of top choice meals. From tavern favs to dinner specials at resonable prices you cant go wrong. Offering your choice of family dining seating, chilling in the tavern, or outside patio all comfortable choices.

Delicious food, exceptional service at the bar, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning soon.

I've been living in Canaan for two months now and haven't visited any of the local restaurants until now. I'm actually glad April's Maple was closed because I had a delicious taco salad here! The lettuce was fresh and crispy, and I truly enjoyed it. My friend Alexandria ordered the fried haddock sandwich, and she loved her meal as well. Her fries were nice and crispy. However, we're planning to check out April's tomorrow!

I have visited the Northland numerous times while snowmobiling in the Northeast Kingdom. My latest visit was on Sunday, January 22, 2012. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious comfort fare. Their menu offers a variety of options, along with daily specials. The place features plenty of tables and booths, as well as a pool table. The atmosphere feels welcoming and cozy, and the restrooms are spacious and clean. I can't praise this place enough, and I always look forward to returning.
