Bootlegger Coffee Company (bakoven)

Lovely day in Cape Town, stopped by Bootlegger for lunch after a great hike. I had a flat white and my husband a green smoothie both great. I really enjoyed the the chicken and avocado wrap, my husband got the lamb burger it was good but would suggest adding a sauce. Overall great service from out waitress, also do friendly so that's always a plus

My rescue coffee shop stop after a Sunday morning 20km run from Camps Bay to Suikerbossie and back.  Always buzzing, staff have a lot of patience with tired runners and cyclist (even the doggies get served water : service is good and the relaxed vibe is fantastic.  Coffee is top nosh.  Always buy something sweet to take home as well as the great Bootleggers own brand coffee capsules!

Bootlegger is like Jerry’s Burgers consistent, excellent franchises that deserve to follow in Col’Cacchio’s footsteps and become national chains. As with other Bootlegger’s, excellent coffee and juices! See you again whenever I am in the area.

We are Gauteng cyclists in Cape Town for the ill-fated Argus and stopped here on our breakfast ride this morning. What a great spot! Perfectly located on a gorgeous route, with friendly staff and a great vibe even at 7:30am! Great food and good coffee make this a perfect cyclists' spot although it did get a little busy as we sat, which slowed the otherwise amazing service down slightly. Wish this was our local!

Sunday breakfast was yummy aand loved the option to create your own breakfast which is def a win. Amazing coffee here and at all their stores. The food was fresh, warm and full of flavour. Was insane busy but these waiters manage to spin crazy to keep up and making sure to serve you well. The perfect spot after a long early walk or cycle.
