Speedway - Campbell

Gas pump handles are filthy grimy. i felt disgusted when i forgot to wipe my hands off before climbing into my car. luckily though i hand my rubbing alcohol still with me and dumped it onto my hands.

Speedway on 921 W Hamilton Ave, Campbell, CA 95008 is my primary fueling spot. I never gave it much thought as I usually went to Safeway or 7-11. Now Speedway is owned by 7-11 but the experience is a bit difference. For Example: They have a fresh grind coffee machine that rivals any coffee shop. The store and station is kept very clean and their car air and water station is outsanding! The selection of food products, water and other beverages is very impressive. The employees are extremely customer focused and willing to assist a customer if they don't understand how the fuel pumps work or the Speedway reward point system. They also know how to add money to PayPal accounts. The employees are very well trained and can pretty much handle anything that comes up. The fuel prices are always competitive with other stations. They can also handle all your lottery/scratcher needs. If your in the area I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Speedway!

The bathroom is closed from 10 pm to 6 am. It is 1 am and store is open, but they lock the bathroom, “for cleaning” the cashier said. Asking nicely made no difference. This is my fifth stop; why is every gas station bathroom closed in this entire area? I cannot possibly be the only person passing through this area at night.

Quality of all products dropped tremendously after 7 eleven take over. Stores moving slower with lack of employees to work the counters understaffed. My understanding is the company is going bankrupt, they can't offer competitive wages to keep employees and they are taking away employee benefits. I'll always miss what speedway was.

Love the fresh coffee good Deli is great way to spend my points the only downside I wish they had more sugar free options for Fountain beverages
