The staff often recognize us, and the service is consistently quick. I agree that her pho might not have the same intense flavor as at other places, but it has a wonderfully clean taste. You can spice up the broth, and while it has a nice kick, it doesn’t overpower the other flavors. We also tried their calamari (which I refer to as squids) and avocado rolls. The chicken pho and beef pho are both excellent as well. I still need to try a pasta dish here. Cheers to another six years!
There are better options available. We waited around 10 minutes after being seated before anyone took our orders, even for water. The food quality was just average, especially considering the prices. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. If I'm in the mood for pho, I’ll choose a different place.
I ordered the BBQ pork banh mi, steak and flank pho, and some egg rolls. Both the banh mi and the pho had an odd sweetness to them, and the broth seemed to lack the necessary flavors of star anise or cardamom. The egg rolls were decent, but at $12 for just three small rolls (around four inches long), the price felt exorbitant. To top it off, they were served with sweet chili sauce instead of the traditional nuoc cham, adding even more sweetness to the meal. I understand that food prices are on the rise, but the value here does not match the cost. I ended up spending about $54, which included $10 for my meal, and honestly, I don’t even feel like finishing it. Given the price point, I don't see myself returning, especially when there are other places offering larger portions of better-tasting food for less.
While the food is good and it's close to my house, the waiting staff was somewhat understated... And I just ordered the Pho that was much more than I paid elsewhere, but it was good! And they had salted plum nada I love! Would definitely return!
We visited this place for lunch. The place was fairly empty. The restaurant looked very simple ambiance wise, the seating was in fact a bit torn out. We ordered the shrimp dumplings which were fried, we didn't like it much. Then we ordered combo chowmein with chicken and shrimp, there were like 3 shrimps in the dish, the sauce was not also not enough in the fried version. The chicken banh mi was the only saver in my opinion. Also, the mango smoothie was good. Service is okay.
