Kismet Tandoori - Cambridge

Vile vile food ordered last night from this restaurant as a takeaway. Ordered a chicken tikka masala which was so spicey had about lumps of chicken in it and tasted burnt ! Partners food was cold and tasted horrible. No pashwari in the Narn...bread. Forgot items of the order, took ages to come as got lost about times. Would never EVER EVER order from this place again AVOID AVOID AVOID ! worth of food in the bin.

Kismet is amazing. We are relatively new to Cambridge (one year in) and have tried many Indian restaurants and takeaways, but Kismet stands out. They are wonderful at adapting to customer preferences and always serve fresh and consistent food. It has quickly become our favorite spot, which is great as it is local to us.

I have been won over by the few negative critics. I have tried all the curry places in Cambridge except for Navadhanya, which is on my list. Kismet is, in my opinion, the best. The food is delicious and of high quality. The tarka dall side dish is the best I have ever had in my life. It is a fantastic place.

I have been dining at Kismet for twenty years and I am surprised that the reviews here are not better. The food is delicious and I am always served promptly. They can be a bit stingy with portions at times (I have had to ask for a refill more than once), but this is my only complaint.

Kismet tandoori, which I should explain to the inappropriate, is an adventurer, no restaurant, is my go-to Indian takeaway in cambridge for many, many years (at least and in all the time I can only remember that disappointed meals. One...was where I had asked for extra seasoning in a biryani, and it had not been added (a disorder in the communication between the receiving cook), and once when a dhansak was under par (usual cook on holiday all the other paints my extra spicy biriyanis and my dhansaks (my two favorites) were absolutely delicious. I have lived in a couple of different parts of cambridge, but apart from a short time after the disappointing dhansak when I visited another facility that subsequently closed, I always go out of mine to give kismet my use. I can't comment on re-delivery as I always collect personally. I like that they better recycle their food in foil containers the portion size is generous and eating is always a good temperature.
