D'arry's Cookhouse And Wine Shop

Two of my favourite dishes are French onion soup and Ceasar salad. I had both of these today from the fixed price menu £15.95. They were both lovely and very tasty. The salad had the correct ingredients (you can get all manner of variations) including anchovies. I would definitely recommend d'Arry's. Well done guys!

We had been recommended by a family member and we are so glad we listened to them! The food and service were equally as good, lovely atmosphere and good value for money considering it’s location. The next time we visit Cambridge we will definitely be back! Keep up the good work!

We wandered into town for a look see a we love here we don't often go into the centre. It was heaving and horrible! On the way out we thought we'd try this charming restaurant that has a eclectic air and super friendly staff. The menu was wide and our choices, starters mains were delicious. As a vegetarian it was also good to get a decent meal too I eat more than most veggies! Very much worth a visit we'll be back.

Went for a hen do evening had a private room which we were allowed to accessorise. Staff were lovely, meal took a while to come (I guess they had staff issues like a lot of hospitality)but well worth the wait. Fish chips huge portion but had to finish it as so nice 10/10 for kitchen staff! Overall experience great would definitely recommend

The food was amazing so well done to the chefs. However, the service was shocking. We were a large table but other than us there were only two or three other small tables. One of my friends got completely missed for her drinks order, after the whole table had arrived we waited for around 30mins to order our food, when the food came out the wait staff didn't know what they had came out with so had to take some of the food back to the kitchen to ask what it was, they then cleared our plates but at no point were we asked if we'd like any more drinks or dessert, we all just sat there for another 30 minutes before flagging down a waitress to pay. She took one payment and then disappeared again. I used to be a waitress so if someone from the table wanted to pay I would sort of assume others would too? Flagged someone down again and she took another 3 payments, I asked her for a menu so I could work out how much I owe, she gave me a menu and then disappeared again! It was also absolutely freezing in there, we were next to the spiral stairs, is there no door at the top of there? Most of us sat with our coats on all evening, and we could also smell cigarette smoke coming through there at one point. I would go back as the food was great but certainly not before going out to do anything else!
