フィードバックを提供するI was pleasantly surprised by this buffet. I came on a weekday and found the selection of food for the price to be excellent. While there were no crab legs or extensive fresh seafood, there was a lot of variety and most dishes were very delicious. I particularly enjoyed the soup. For dinner, I noticed a slight difference in the food selection compared to lunch, but it wasn't too significant. If given the choice, I would come back for the weekday dinner as the price difference between lunch and dinner is quite significant with not much more available for dinner.
I am a loyal fan of buffets. When I was growing up, my family always stayed at the Stratosphere and we always had the Sunday buffet at the Rio before heading home. We would always come for the late lunch and dinner on our last day. I'm not sure how the group decided on this place, but I'm glad we did. It was a buffet lover's dream. It's a bit of a trek to get here since it's off the strip, about 12 miles away. That's quite a distance.
I visited this restaurant with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by its small size. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back to try the wine!
On Monday we were still out in the desert, and the place we were staying at, their restaurant was closed during the week. Being dinnertime, we made the 20 minute trek out to DiMaggio's after calling in our order on the way. After losing the call once, I called back and was able to place my order (darn desert reception). The young lady working the front was very pleasant to deal with, and after talking with her while waiting for our pizza--I found out they DO deliver to the Silver Saddle (which is surprising.. since its a 20 minute drive one way
Fabulous food, friendly staff. The place is not fancy. It could use better decoration, Italian music to make the atmosphere more Euro. Other then that, enjoy the food is fab.
