The Keg Steakhouse Market Mall

2 birthdays 6 adult was a problem with qa before the meals from the kitchen. our middle filet was carburized and well made. we were offered a redo, an apology and dessert for the table - that was nice. unfortunately the rest of the table had to eat or their meal is cold. so we have to eat alone - not ideal, but it is what it is. the situation was confirmed, still a little disappointing in view of the output quantity.

Always my go to for consistent food and atmosphere. Had a rough start we were early and i think it was shift start up so the initial wait was a little long but after that everything was a normal great experience.................the loaf at the start has changed and not a fan of the new loaf preferred the quarter sections that used to be done but not a game changer!

We ordered chicken and ribs got the ribs minus the chicken told the waitress she got the manager he came over said sorry said the chicken takes longer we ate the ribs when we started to leave the chicken showed up I said we will take it home the manager said he would comp the chicken I would have rather ate it with ribs not impressed

On Saturday night, the place was packed with many people wanting to get it. Reservations are strongly recommended. The staff did an excellent job of seating people and had the salad and appetizers on the table in record time.

Very loud. Square footage compressed to restaurants benefit. At the prices of this establishment the atmosphere should be more sophisticated. The menu has no king crab or seafood options ,a steakhouse needs to have surf and turf options. Sever was very cordial and pleasant. Food preparation was great,no complaints in this area of the business. Finishes of the room were excellent. Overall the Keg has a great reputation but as a patron of over 30 yrs a x employee) I find the experience to be deminishing while the menu remains virtually unchanged. Fairfax has a moneymaker here. Overall one of the top steakhouses in the Calgary area.
