Sidewalk Citizen Bakery - Calgary

OMG. Everything I had here over two breakfasts was fabulous. I also bought a takeout lunch (chicken sandwich with pesto, mmmmmm... that was excellent. I would be here every day if I were local, but my waistline would not thank me. I love that they are in the same building as a Phil and Sebastian's, and that you can order coffee from the bakery, or baked goods when you buy your coffee. All the staff are super friendly. They have a wide variety of options to choose from, both sweet and savory. I wish they had a branch where I live.....

Eat the focaccia bread with zucchini, pesto and feta. It will be the most delightful and savory dish you will ever eat. We also tried the meat quiche and the bread pudding and they were both wonderful but we saved some of the bread for our last bite. Just go! You will thank me.

Lots of great pasties for sharing! I love how this is a one stop shop for coffee and pastry in a community collaboration! A great stop on the river walk and incentive for the reluctant walker!

Went there about a week ago and got a whole bunch of pastries, because everything looked so amazing and I just couldn’t decide. Some of the best ones in the city! Almond croissant and chocolatine were my favourite. Still have their sourdough loaf in the freezer and can’t wait to get into it: . My pictures don’t do theirs stuff justice lol

Amazing staff and pastries, if you are looking to go on a wild ride make sure to order their breakfast sandwich with both avocado and bacon on their sourdough bread, always an amazing experience!
