Wait staff very kind and happy to help. Unfortunately it is so hot in the restaurant due to the running stoves, number of bodies, and overall cramped location wouldn’t recommend wearing anything heavier than a t shirt or you’ll feel like you’re going to pass out. Food was okay, wasn’t anything special. I knew the menu was small, but I was taken aback at how small it really was. Would be a great place if you’re looking for a quick snack couple drinks. Food isn’t enough to fill you up, and extremely overpriced for what you’re getting. Moreover, they don’t serve any carbonated beverages. Water or alcoholic beverages only. (Wine/beer/and a few cocktails) Overall was an okay experience. But I personally wouldn’t waste the money to go again.
Fun evening out with excellent service. Beet salad was outstanding and the bao for two was delicious. Look forward to come back in a month with a new menu rotation.
Nights Weekends is open Thursday to Sunday nights where they take over the same location as Meat Bread (days), a small 30 seat place. The menu is small and adventurous, food is incredibly flavourful currently a bit of some Asian influence/infused spices. It's a definite foody place. Service was engaging and informative and we learned a lot about the food they make while there. Seating is communal, on stools. My back is not a fan of the stools, however it creates a lively, engaging atmosphere. A small superlative cocktail list, combined with a good selection of wine and other drink pairings. Definitely recommend!
We made a reservation in advance so when we were there the hostess told us to wait couple minutes when three ladies sitting close to the window were about to leave which is absolutely fine to us. We were standing by the door and waiting and then a man just walked in and seemed to know the people who worked there. Couple minutes later the hostess told us the three people (who was the man’s party just walked in after us) have been waiting so they have to give our table to them and sit us in to the spot closest to the entrance and we were freezing. It defeats the purpose of making reservations and made it look so bad that you gave the table to someone who came in after us in front of the customers just because you know them. Food tastes good but the service was disappointing.
