Kinjo - Calgary

The delicious food has arrived fantastic and on time at our table. the server are friendly and knowledgeable answer our asking.

Had a visit to kinjo with friends, for the first time in one. a lot has changed since visit, but eating was great, the service was also very good! some of the smaller changes (no more pocky for the ladies, no blue flo thunfisch on. the menu, and no sampler rolls when they arrive) were a bit disappointing, but not away from the overall experience.

Ordered the Spicy Deluxe Ramen Chicken Kaarage Donburi over rice Kimchi Sashimi Toro Sashimi Yam tempura Salmon Kama Salmon Roll. Food arrived quickly. Chicken kaarage wasn't crispy and had too much sauce. And we found that there wasn't much...of a salmon piece in the rolls. Other than that we found the food good. The menu has lots of options. Service was okay. I would recommend this restaurant especially if you're staying at a nearby airport hotel (northwest side of the airport)

This is the biggest sushi restaurant I have ever seen! For a family of drinks and dinner, I felt a good value at less than The rolls we had were so-so, I liked the Hot California and Mango rolls the best. I could...have taken a pass on the shrimp tempura. The skewers beef and pork were good.

Decided to stop in for lunch. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the view to the west as well as over flying jet traffic. The music was a touch loud and they offered to turn down the volume we just elected to...sit off to one side. The staff is very friendly, prompt and efficient. They double team so you have fast courteous service. We did not have to wait to long for our food to arrive. The food was delicious and fresh. Even if you do not like Sushi , you can still have a good feed here. I especially loved the Chicken Karaage. We were once again impressed with both the service and the food. The patio might be a fantastic place to enjoy a sunset.
