Jonas' Restaurant - Calgary

Awesome Hungarian food. Like Mom used to make. I have been a frequent diner and have taken several people for their first time who in turn have become frequent diners. The chicken paprikash is so awesome and the crepe dessert is perfect to finish off.

We liked this little family restaurant where the welcome is very friendly. We started with a tasty goulasch soup before chaining with a Viennese escalope. We chose small portions which was largely sufficient. A first meal in a nice canada in a good address.

Friendly owners. You know, you're in hongari with the clothes and music, good honky-ass burger kitchens. You can choose between big and small portions. With a dish, you've got enough on a small portion of main dish. Trying to do downtown calgery where not a lot of restaurants were close to our hotel.

Been here many many times. Have ordered most dishes and they are always fresh and hot coming out to the table. Although the menu hasn't really changed the food is so good you don't get tired of it. Enjoy your visit, we always do.

We did not leave hungry! You will not be disappointed to eat in this small unassuming, clean Hungarian restaurant with fantastic food and service. We will be back for the Weiner Schnitzle and Hungarian Beef Stew. Also a must for desert is the walnut and chocolate crepes!
