Bridgette Bar - Calgary

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, although we could only secure a reservation for 4 pm in the lively bar area several days in advance. Despite the chill by the large window-turned-doors, my daughter enjoyed the industrial atmosphere with its cool decorations throughout, even in the washroom. We were able to take advantage of Happy Hour until 5 pm, with drinks at half price. My daughter tried the Dreams of Yu(zu and I was recommended the Rolling Canoe by our waiter, which tasted like cold mulled wine. Both drinks were $16 each. For appetizers, we indulged in Eggplant Fries, Tuna Crudo, and Belgian Endive in Brie Cream, all of which were unique and delicious. We then shared a Fennel Salami pizza and were too full for dessert. The friendly waiter even made me a delightful Blueberry Tea and kept our water hot and refilled throughout the meal. It was a lovely early dinner before attending a Candlelight Concert in nearby Inglewood, with convenient street parking directly in front of the restaurant.

I regret that we didn't come here earlier and more hungry. The food here is outstanding. The pickle granita for the oysters was so innovative and tangy you don't need anything else on them. We got the sausage pasta and the cod both were fantastic and I wanted to eat more and order additional plates but was too full from a late lunch. We had reservations for 9 but they were super accommodating when we got there early and sat us right away. I found the vibe there to be upscale but not fussy laidback but still luxe. Great cocktails and one of the best glasses of wine I've had ever a Brigette bar exclusive!

I went to many restaurants during my visit to Calgary and this restaurant is by far my favourite! I was excited to eat here due to a recommendation and I was more than pleased! The ambiance was nice and cozy, although it got a bit dark. I was super surprised by the eggplant fries! The yogurt dip was delicious and paired perfectly. The tuna crudo dish was so refreshing. Honestly, everything I ate was delicious, and I was super full. I don't have anything bad to say about anything! The Italian pork sausage conchiglie pasta was excellent. If I had more room to spare I would have eaten another plate! My friends and I of course ordered all of the desserts and no surprise, everything was delicious! We had to take the rest to go because the 3 of us couldn't finish everything. I'm so excited for Bridgette Bar to come to Toronto! My friends and I keep talking about how much we miss Bridgette Bar's excellent food.

This was a great restaurant in Calgary! All the food was amazing!! Came here with a group and we had made a reservation so we were seated right away. Service was great! I felt like the waitresses were checking in on us at a good frequency to make sure we had everything we needed and checking in on how our orders were. Food was all delicious and presented well. They have a good selection for both food and drinks. Space itself was very cool. Definitely one of the nicer spots to go to in Calgary. Overall would totally recommend for a date night or nice dinner out with a group.

Good food and love the decor and vibe. Lots of thought was put into the decor. Can I hire your interior designer!? Must try: Garlic bread! They look like beignets and are deep fried and stuffed with cheese! Beet salad was good as well along with eggplant fries. Our service was great and our server made some great recommendations. Would definitely come back again.
