German Club Cairns

If you want an enjoyable, relaxed and CHEAP night out, then this is the place. We are not German or Austrian, but were made feel very welcome at this club. We went as a family and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We ate a great home cooked meal followed by beautiful pretzels and of course the beer on tap. We enjoyed the dancing and singing. It was a great night and we certainly will be going again. The night that we went was a promotional night, so next time we will try the schnitzel night. Loved it, but remember to book as it is quite a small venue.

Really enjoy the Germania Club the people are always friendly and obliging there is often some live music after the meal and the drinks are reasonably priced. There is usually just only one main meal so choice is not their high point but the food is good whole some style cooking costed at below $20. If you want to experience a taste of Germany in a typical German style environment then do go along to the German Club you wont be diappointed.

I wish I could dine here every night. Very friendly staff and delicious food. It is such a warming place, it feels like a family dinner. The only thing I dislike is enjoying a 1L Stein or two, walking outside and realising that the snowy alps are absent.

70's drinks prices,especially at Happy Hour and a Schnitzel the size of Texas is the order of the day and makes for a good night out with friends. There is apparently German music on most weekend nights (even a German Elvis!) but not the night we were there.

The restaurant served delicious beer and schnitzels, but I was disappointed to discover that the Alps were not visible when I left the club. Overall, it was an amazing place!
