Cairns Riki Japanese Bbq

It's always an absolute treat to eat here, the environment is calming and the staff are extremely friendly to all. The food is well prepared and delicious! The prices range from low to being quite expensive, however the prices are reasonable when it comes to a Japanese restaurant in Cairns!

Great authentic Japanese restaurant. Great bbq options. I opted for a Bento Box which included salmon, tuna, octopus, and squid sashimi. Karage and shredded cabbage, fried salmon fish wing, miso soup, and eel over rice...very very good.

Great food. The meat has excellent seasoning. The shop is a bit busy when I was there. Booking is recommended. Services is a bit lax but this review is in Covid’s era. (They could have staffing problem). Overall strongly recommended. Additional Note: The aircon was not as strong as I would like.

Very nice restaurant! we ate at the traditional tables and it was an amazing experience! the food was fantastic and came out very quickly! I recommend it very much! the people where beautiful

We went on weekday but unfortunately waygu beef all sold out . So we left without dining in but surprisely the next day (Friday)we received a msg from the restaurant said the waygu beef had stock up do we wanna to book in (good communication and service) We order sashimi ,Saba(grilled fish),tempura as entree to start with Than BBQ section we order waygu beef set menu(worth it,not expensive),plus extra crocodile meat,pork neck(yum),beef tounge (so tender)must try! For 4 of us,we walk out with a very full tummy,dint expect the serve was big Owner(Jason) ,a big cheerful guy and also a great chef too. Tip:before booking ,give them a call to check waygu beef available or not.
