Not wet like I thought it would be after all the rain. Well taken care of

Just across the river from SoCo, I visited for the first time and was quite impressed. The golf was affordable and enjoyable.

I played at this course for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It offers good value for the price. I scored a 78, largely because the back nine was quite short, allowing me to get by with just a drive followed by a chip or pitch shot. I would recommend this course to anyone who isn't a long hitter and just wants to enjoy a round of golf.

New management has taken over and is revamping the course. It's a gold mine in progress! They are putting in a lot of effort, and while there’s still some work to be done, the course is stunning and features an incredible design.

The Prairies is a delightful throwback course that many of us Gen Xers fondly remember from our youth. It helped us develop a love and appreciation for golf courses just like this one. The standout feature is the challenging par 4 ninth hole—it's diabolical! I plan to return just to take another shot at it. I wouldn't change a thing about this course.
