Located near Xavier University, Abby offers good value for Mediterranean food. They have a good assortment of grilled meat and appetizers like hummus. The ambiance also feels very local and homey.
I ordered the shawarma rice bowl..... It wasn't in a bowl then I asked for garlic sauce which tasted weird compared to the others the next day I had tummy aches.
This branch is far from its original branch in Manila. Their food is fried instead of how it's supposed to be skwered or grilled, and their portions are lesser too. The only thing better is their iced tea. Plus some of the customers were way too loud.
Ababu offers a variety of delicious Persian meals. They have camel dishes with various beef and chicken dishes. I especially liked her keema motabal, which is light but rich in aromas. You also have unhealthy tea or shakes that are as cold as you ex '. The place is simple, but decent. The staff is also attentive and friendly. Very recommended food in CDO Downtown.
