Farmer's Kitchen - Cadott

Well as you can read from others food and service are terrible eat elsewhere.

Food was terrible. The gravy on the roast beef was the same on the turkey. Awful. The farmer wasn't cooking today.

A lot of people don't understand that the farmers kitchen is now the family restaurant and the truckstop is owned by River Country cooperatives. And Subway is on by a gentleman out of Medford and he owns three different subways.. So they actually rate people based on the wrong outfits.. It's a truckstop with three different entities but the actual river country co-op side is what I'm rating and it's awesome. They can't do better.

Good friendly people, very old school settings A substantial menu with everything you could ask for in a comfort food restaurant I ordered the Cajun Chicken with baked potato, very nice and a good portion I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, however I would visit again if I'm passing by Adequate for most tartare buds

Stopped in while traveling west on Hwy 29, the service was fast we were seated quickly and our order was taken as soon as we were ready, a container for leftovers and the check were delivered promptly, we were in and out with no fuss. My bacon cheeseburger was great, soft bun, crispy bacon with the cheese nicely melted into it, and a perfectly cooked burger. Fries were crisp and tasty, a plus. Menu prices are very reasonable for good size portions. We will definitely stop in again if we get hungry as we travel through the area. Another quick note: breakfast, lunch, dinner all served all day, so no need to pay attention to what part of the menu you're looking at!
