We went as for a family celebration all of us over 18 some of us had the Monday steak special which was good value for money, but we were not that impressed with the beer of the month other people had various meals off the main menu all enjoyed there meals but no stand outs.The service was good and friendly, we ordered drinks which came quickly while we looked through the menu and chatted as our family tend to do when we all get together.

Food was pretty ****, ordered fried Camembert and the cheese was still cold on the inside. Ordered onion rings and they were swimming in oil, partner ordered a parmy and it was dry and hard on the edges, overall environment is nice but food needs major work!

This is a local for us and I have tried most things on the menu. My husband and I both agree the food never dissapoints and you are always guaranteed of a good pub feed and we are pretty fussy when it comes to food.

I ordered steak Diane, don't know what I got but it wasn't Diane sauce!! The steak was rare, I ordered Meduim rare!! My son ordered BBQ Ribs, we swapped as he likes rare steak! His ribs were tough and chewy not edible, The service is very poor, bringing main meals out before they have even cleared the starter plates.My husband a pint did not receive, had to ask after 20 mins.Definitely not a pleasurable experience.

Thursday's Seafood night lovely, wife dressed ready to go. Arrived was told seafood night just FISH. Not that I am a big fan of ocean catch but trying to impress the skirt. Anyway meal ordered. Average. Wife did give feedback. Not taken on board. Result = off the list
