Rose And Crown Pub - Burwash

I did not stay at the pub, but we had dinner the burger was overcooked. My chicken supreme was also overcooked but the sauce was nice. The service was good. My side veg was stone cold, made them aware and it was changed immediately good service nice people, they just need a better chef Safety: You could not feel safer in a village Walkability: The countryside nearby is stunning and the walks are easy to get to from the pub. Scoffed my roast pork and crackling and very friendly staff (only two blokes) who were rushing around and tending to customers inside and outside. Service: 5 Location: 5

The rose and crown Burwash I heard that there was a new chef. As it's been a while since I was there due to the fact I was very disappointed the last couple of times I thought I give it another try. I went Thursday it was fairly busy but I did not have to wait long at all The steak was perfect and the curry was as good as any take away. I enjoyed it so much that we went back Saturday this time it was very busy but again it was not waiting long and the food was once more great hats off to the chef and the pub. I look forward to my return.

Very disappointing food. Deep fried Brie very greasy. Chicken pie microwaved. Very expensive for poor quality food.
