Trattoria Italian Kitchen - Burnaby

I wish the server had been more attentive and friendlier. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I especially enjoyed the Tuesday pasta special.

The server was friendly and the food was delicious.

I love this restaurant, but I have one suggestion. Every time I've come in for brunch, the food is lukewarm to almost cold. The sauce for the eggs Benedict and the potatoes are always cold. However, the service, the overall food, and the ambiance are wonderful. My only suggestion is to warm up the food, please.

I have been to this Trattoria many times. I always have very good experience, but not this time: I made our reservation last week to Trattoria for Sunday. We arrived (the hostess seemed to have a hard time trying to figure out where to put us and decided that we should be seated a private room. There was a large group already seated in that area. There were 2 tables left closer to the entrance. The Mezzanine was not full. I feel like we (being Asian and everyone sitting in the same private room) were put in that particular room for a reason, maybe I am just sensitive. There were plenty of room in the Mezzanine. All of us ordered the dine out menu, 3 of us ordered the Grilled Veal T Bone. We were not ask “how would you like your steak”, the waitress told us that they only prepare the steak one way – medium – for all. I wished they have it written on their menu. I would have order from the regular menu.

Food was amazing! We didn't order chicken because last time we went one of the chicken leg was under cooked inside. Luckily we brought it home and just pan fried it. Food was delicious! Waiter and the waitress were very accommodating. They checked on us often and refilling water. Thank you!
