Baskin-robbins - Burlington

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. As a local customer, I came here to treat my children and even ordered a cake, but I found the service to be pretty bad. The icing on the cake was when I tried to purchase two ice cream cones for my son, which totaled $8.00. Unfortunately, I realized at the cash register that my credit card had a net loss and I couldn't withdraw money. When I returned to apologize for the issue with my bank, the woman at the counter complained that I was wasting her time over the ice cream. The portions were tiny, less than 4 ounces each, and the waffle cones seemed overpriced. It was disappointing to be treated poorly by the staff because of a situation that was out of my control. Overall, I would rather buy a tub of Kawartha's ice cream for a more affordable price and better quality, without the small and rude service. I would advise others to skip this place, as it is not worth visiting.

Baskin and Robbins ice cream tastes the same everywhere, but what sets this place apart is the customer service. This location is a bit hit or miss. I've experienced slow and indifferent service at times, but have also been pleasantly surprised by great service. One particularly memorable moment was when they didn't charge me for a replacement cone after my son dropped his ice cream. That gesture was very nice of them.

On a hot Sunday afternoon, my family and I walked 20 minutes to this restaurant, only to find out that they were out of waffles and the portions were very small. This was actually not a problem for me, but what really bothered me was that they refused to let my pregnant wife use the restroom. She explained to the manager (who may have been the owner) that she was pregnant and had walked all the way there just for this reason, but she was still denied access. I understand that COVID-19 is a concern and that precautions need to be taken, but I find it inhumane and unacceptable that some establishments are using this as an excuse to keep their restrooms closed. It is not a law to close restrooms, and there are studies that show that the virus is not easily transmitted through contact with surfaces. Other businesses I have visited recently have been able to provide restroom access for customers. When I spoke to the manager about this issue, he simply blamed COVID-19 and mentioned that there was a restroom at a nearby store. This is not the point - I am not a researcher for that store! Next time, I will consider going to a different establishment that values their customers' needs over making excuses.

Everyone loves his ice cream cake and if I am not wrong with the name I am thanked and all the coworkers for their excellent costumer's service that went out of the way to make sure that I get what I was looking for soon

I always get cakes from here for different ocassions and have never been disappointed with their service as they always take care of me. They have also managed to make me a large cake in very short notice which no other place was ready to do. This place is awesome!!!
