フィードバックを提供するThis restaurant used to be one of our favorites, but we were disappointed this time. The food quality has gone downhill. The large Nacho plate came with sparse beans and sour cream. The Chinese chicken salad had dry chicken and lacked dressing. The Brownie sundae tasted old. However, the dirty Martini was excellent. We won't be returning soon and hope they take our feedback to heart. The restaurant used to have a long line, but not anymore.
The service at this restaurant was extremely slow and we were told that the kitchen was backed up. The quality of the food was so poor that it was barely edible. When we informed our server, we were only given a $13 credit. The crab cakes were cold with no sauce, and the blackened fish sandwich had no meat, just mixed greens in a roll, which was very confusing. The fries and onion rings came out 15 minutes before our main dishes, and were served without ketchup or ranch. The children's meals were cold and flavorless, and I was charged for apple juice but served Sprite instead. I was disappointed with the poor quality of the food and the lack of any effort from the server or manager to rectify the situation. I would advise avoiding this place at all costs. Additionally, I had made a reservation through Open Table but still had to wait in line for 10 minutes before being seated.
Everything was perfect. This place has been around for over 30 years.
The restaurant was closed and no one said they were closed.... Very disappointing
We ate at Max’s in Redwood City many times and enjoyed the food especially the crab cakes, the chopped salad and the pastrami sandwich. Unfortunately, that restaurant is now closed. The food at the Burlingame restaurant was a disappointment. My pastrami sandwich was extremely dry almost inedible. Also the rye bread wasn’t toasted so the bread fell apart with each bite. The chopped salad wasn’t what I expected and what i had eaten at the Redwood City restaurant just some lettuce, croutons and a few pieces of chopped carrots and bell pepper. We probably won’t be back to this restaurant.
