The Plantation House Cafe

Went for a quick bite of lunch. Service was quick and lunch of spinach feta pastry was very tasty and served hot. Water and glass brought to the table without having to request.

Absolutely the best coffee on the Gold Coast and wonderful friendly service. The new decor of pastel pinks, greens and whites is so fresh and pretty. And it’s dog friendly!

Visited Plantation House Cafe today for breakfast and unfortunately the experience was well below our expectations. We ordered the hash brown stack, eggs Benedict, tropical smoothie and a coffee. Although the staff were polite when taking our order, The waitress who brought out the meal accidentally tilted the plate to much as she placed it on the table, causing the meal to slide off the plate and into my hands as I caught it from landing in my lap. Once I’d managed to put everything I’d caught back on the plate it was almost upside down on the plate) she awkwardly apologised and offered to grab some napkins so I could wipe all the hollandaise sauce off my hands. She came back with two very tiny napkins which were useless and then she disappeared. After going to the bathroom to clean up I went to the counter to ask for some more napkins so I could wipe down the table as there was no follow up from the waitress or an offer to remake the meal. To make matters worse, The poached eggs were hard and the hollandaise sauce poured on the eggs Benedict was more like water, which had soaked into the toast leaving it extremely soggy and inedible. On a positive note the coffee and smoothie were really nice.

Today I visited this gorgeous Cafe, with my son, set amongst trees a eco village. The food is fresh the quality great such a lovely variety of choices on the menu. Generous serves. They also have a special of the day. Great tasting coffee, variety of milks also. For the sweet tooth, lots to choose from, we had a raw chocolate cake , it was divine, lovely flavour not too sweet. I tried the ginger chai latte, Yum! Lovely out door area front back plenty of tables inside also. Staff pleasant friendly greet you with a smile. There's also a massage healing centre on the premises. Great experience, definitely will visit again Unfortunately didn't take any pics.

Out for a drive and dropped in for a coffee. Excellent, friendly efficient service. Water delivered almost as we sat down. Coffee was very good and we decided to share the lemon pepper squid with chips. Without asking an additional plate was delivered with the cutlery. Food was perfectly cooked, well presented and came with excellent chips. CoVid protocols were strongly in evidence and greatly appreciated. Will definitely return to try other menus offerings
