I have been a customer of this place for more than 3 years so needless to say I do like it a lot buuut the lady answering the phone is borderline rude, the way she answers the phone and rushes you to answer and the whole interaction overall is rude. Every time I call I wish the male person who also works there answers the phone… he is much nicer! No complaints about the food but their customer experience needs LOTS of improvement.
Abrasive great way to run a good customer away belittling their sush knowledge instead of educating them. Went from going to order to walking out I'm minutes due to willingness to not help.
Great sushi with good portions and great service!! Very friendly and very accommodating to changes due to allergies. Can’t wait to go back.
Have been faithfully ordering from Sushi Maki since we moved to the area in 2014. Wonderful, family owned operated business for which I am incredibly grateful to have the pleasure to patronize. From our first experience, whereupon I was a few months pregnant, and the owner graciously ensured everything I ordered was pregnancy safe (even going out of her way to have the salmon seared etc , through dine in visits with my family pre-pandemic to regular takeout and requests for “fish bubbles” (Ikura: salmon roe from my girls now we adore everything about Sushi Maki. I sincerely hope that one day (hopefully soon! we’ll be able to dine in again! Either way, we’re customers for life! Favorites: Ikura nigiri, Montpelier roll, Columbus roll, Frankfort, and really everything we’ve ever tried. :
