Tried this spot out after a recommendation from friend. Friday night and it was very busy. Waitresses did the very best to accommodate everyone. Food was very good. It will not disappoint.

Um, wow. I don't know the last time that you had escargo and a perfectly cooked NY strip at a bowling alley/sports bar, but it was the 1st time for me and it was awesome! The last thing I expected in Bull Shoals was a high quality gourmet style meal, but that's exactly what I found. You just have to experience it to believe it... and you won't t regret it.

We have recently moved to the Bull Shoals area and after weeks of remodeling were very much anticipating our first night out to eat in the area. We researched, read reviews and finally decided to try the 178 Club. Wow! Bad decision! Horrible, clueless wait staff. We asked about the daily special. She couldn 't even tell us anything about it or how much it was. It was listed several places, but nowhere did it have a price. Nothing we had decided to try that was on the menu online was still available. She actually laughed and said Yeah, nobody updates that !! So, against our usually discernable judgement and based on the rest of the prices on the menu AND based on the advertised prices as ranging from 6.00 t0 29.00 I ordered the daily special. My companion ordered a burger. The burger was great. The prices on the drinks were all fine. The daily special was so salty that I couldn 't eat it and the waitress was totally disinterested in the fact that I told her so and it was pretty much all left on the plate. She brought me a to go box and I even joked with her that I would to make fresh pasta with no salt and hopefully doctor it enough that I could eat it the next day. Funny huh!!!! Maybe, had it been priced at 6.00 29.00! Imagine my shock when the bill came and the daily special was 40.99!!!! That is not a typo. 40.99 for a daily special that I was unable to eat. Sad, Because we live about 6 minutes away. There are very few options in the area and we will certainly NEVER enter this establishment again. RECAP: Menu online NOT updated. Wait staff worthless!!! Prices NOT posted and wait staff clueless. Huge surprise at the end of the meal and nobody cared that we were unsatisfied. Good luck folks!

Best hamburger and fries I have ever eaten. I picked my meal up to carry home so I can't rate the service. The only negative prices are too steep!
