Without a doubt, this is the best dining option on UB's north campus—there's simply no competition. The food is consistently hot and fresh. While the service is quick, it doesn't have that fast food feel. The Korean owners are genuinely lovely people. I've been working at UB for over 20 years, and this is one of the three places where I consistently choose to eat on campus (special mentions to La Rosa and Rachel's as well!). Dak Bulgogi is by far my favorite dish.
The food is amazing! I dined here throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, and I make a point to visit whenever I'm in town. I highly recommend this place!
Every time I’m in the area in this pandemic I go out of my way to check to see if these fine people are still making the best katsu, haemul udon or bibimbop in WNY. I miss their lovely smiling faces, their expertise and the food they make. When I went to UB, I spent probably 3/4 of my food budget there because they run a clean shop in such a busy campus and are always on point. If they survive these dreadful months until we can go closer to normalcy, you’ll find me here again every month
It's a little secluded, but has fast service and good food at low prices. I paid about $8.36, including tax, for chicken bibimbap that filled my empty stomach at lunchtime (I didn't eat breakfast and I'm a pretty fit dude who needs food). And although the card reader takes about 1- 1.5 minutes to process, its pleasant talking with your server.
