We started off getting the jalapeño poppers, The seaweed salad, Edamame, and soft shell crab and it was amazing. Later we got our miso soup and salad and we got our sushi rolls We got the Sears Tower, The sushi Yaki roll, Bo's special and a lot more. Those are the best sushi I ever had. At the end, we got the banana ice cream and it was very good. No complaints, best restaurants ever.
I have been coming here for some time and I've come to love these guys. The sushi is some of the best in the burbs, and it's BYOB!! Can all the sushi places be BYOB please? Although I'd still go here because the rolls are actually that good. PS. Get Philadelphia and Godzilla rolls.
I have been going here for over 2 years. Chef Bo works so hard to make sure everything is fresh and delicious! Hi wife waits on everyone in a very professional and friendly manner. My Fiance and I regularly visit. Often, possible because we are regulars, we are given free appetizer of Chef Bo's own version of a jalapeno popper, or possibly Edamame. Our rolls are the Titanic, and Smoky Mountain! Definitely will return many more times! Even though the wait may be a little long at times, this is due many people ordering with GrubHub online. Its worth the wait!!
I recently tried Sushi Yaki for sushi and was disappointed. I ordered the Dragon Roll and the Godzilla Roll, one had eel as the main protein and the other had shrimp tempura, cream cheese and salmon. They tasted so similar, meaning neither had good flavor or enough flavor to decipher one from the other. For $12+/each rolls I expected a lot more. Also, the rolls were poorly wrapped, so soft and loose that they crumbled when I attempted to use chopsticks and too large to even take two bites from one piece which ruins everything.. I threw 90% of my rolls in the garbage.
Tried to go there for lunch today and was told they are no longer open for business. There was no sign of closure anywhere. A man was inside removing all of the furniture and told me they're closed for good. Very sad , this was my favorite go to for lunch.
