The fudge was so delicious. The owner was so nice and she was very helpful. Go to this scene. You're angry when you're wondering.
Quaint local gas station offering up vintage candies, fudge, ice cream, and a huge selection of bottled sodas.
Amazing homemade ice cream! The fudge looks delicious too but I didn't get to try it. They also have hundreds of bottled sodas and old school candy. Very cool place to stop! It's very unassuming and is masked by a shell station. Don't let that fool you, it's a must stop!
This is a must stop. Yes they have Mountain Dew and such, but it is the old timey drinks, such as the Earp's Sarsaparilla, that I was maybe a little too happy to find. They also have the regular gas station selection of candy, but more importantly have vintage and specialty treats as well. Don't forget the fudge and ice cream shop! All this, plus Shell Gasoline and a nice park right across the street. The young lady working the counter was very friendly, exactly what you would expect in a small mountain town.
I was in a hurry to find a Red Bull and spotted a charming little gas station, so I thought I’d just pop in. To my surprise, it turned out to be a lovely shop selling sodas and homemade fudge. The owner was incredibly friendly and shared details about their sodas, the fudge, and even some information about the city. While I did end up getting my Red Bull, I also left with a six-pack of various sodas, six pieces of fudge, and a handful of candy. The fudge is absolutely amazing; I’d come to Buena Vista just for that alone. This is definitely a place worth stopping by!
