Dami Sushi Izakaya - Buena Park

Thomas Shin and Sylvia Lee aimed to create an inviting space that blends authentic Japanese cuisine, crafts, and beer with a lively, casual atmosphere. They launched Dami Sushi Izakaya on March 28, 2014, in the new Buena Park shopping center by the beach. This mall is reminiscent of Diamond Jamboree in Irvine, featuring a variety of Asian restaurants and shops. The restaurant itself offers a cozy vibe with seating options including booths, tables, and a sushi bar. The menu showcases the creativity of Executive Chef Jun Kim and Executive Sushi Chef John Yoon, complemented by culinary expertise from Chef Yoshihiro Matsumoto, owner of Sakura House in Marina Del Rey, and Joanne Chung, an international menu consultant and food stylist.
