Jamaica Blue Kawana - Buderim

Very disappointing coffee here last week.... Girl made ours (to take away as we usually cant find a seat) with warm milk left in a dirty jug, skim milk pored into this and then added cold milk to take to required temperature. Coffees were thin and tasted like water, so I returned them much to servers horror! To my horror the dirty jugs lined up at the coffee machine were used again and our coffees tasted like the original watery ones. No creaminess and no coffee taste even though extra shots ordered. Not drinkable or acceptable. Cold, clean jugs and freshly steamed milk are the start of a good coffee so training needed here!

I've been there several times already, I like the interior and the fact it's tucked away from the main traffic within the Kawana shopping centre - you can have some rest, read a book and have a cofee - there are many tables and comfy seats there. Mums can sit outside, in the isle where there is a small playground for kids (and the menu has a cute babyccino served with a marshmallow). They also serve fantastic ice coffee, but the quality of other things is random. Carrot cake - fantastic, but pistachio triangle lacked flavour and was greasy (to me - not edible). Burger - very tasty, but crepes with chicken, again - not edible and whoever cooked them should be sentenced to eating them for a week (punishment severe enough). There is some potential in this place, but they have to review their menu and get rid of the things that aren't good - it's really easy to find out which items should go. Make a smaller menu, but with tasty food only. The service was always spot on.

We come here regularly for coffee and lunch and are never disappointed. The coffee is smooth, not bitter and full of flavour. Ice cold water on arrival and friendly staff. We have a rewards card and enjoy a free coffee occasionally. The orange and almond cake is delicious and the muffins fresh.

Unfortunately today you did not get our business! As regular customers we were once again disappointed to turn up to a half full cafe but with near no seat available as all had reserved signs. For a cafe this is poor practice and old fashioned! !! Shame as this is one of our favorite breakfast stops but not for long if we get turned away because of reserved signs !

I visit Jamaica Blue quite often for business lunches and personal lunches with my partner. Service and food are excellent
