Shingle Inn - BUDDINA

Horrid food average coffee and less than excellent service. The reason I entered was due to the restaurant presentation this was the high point. I am uninspired and shant return

Sat 29th April With the boys at state titles for the day, 4 year old and I visited the shopping centre for a break and afternoon tea.We found the cafe, and although the kitchen was closed we were so well looked after and first time in a long time received my Vienna to perfection first go!Thanks to the lady who looked after us.

Waited over 15minutes to order and 15 minutes to get a coffee. We had to switch to take-away due to long waits. Very disappointed as I really wanted to try this establishment.

I called into Single Inn at Kawana shopping centre for a light lunch while completing my Christmas shop. There were many places to chose from, however knowing the history of Single Inn I thought I would line up and order something from Single Inn. I was disappointed I had to wait a long time for just a savoury, I chose from the cabinet, which needed to be heated up and served and hot chips. By the time we received the hot chips and this savoury there was only four people left in the cafe. So they were not busy. The arm chairs we sat in were dirty and the whole place just needed to pick up there standard

Decided to stop for quick lunch, but that was not to be. After waiting for over half an hour for a toasted sandwich and the place was not that busy, maybe 5 or 6 tables at best. We enquired about the wait to fellow named Sandy, who was extremely flustered and quite frankly, very rude. His explanation was something about the staff all being new, because previous owners had 'shut shop and left'... Shingle Inn needs to look at employing competent staff or at least ones who know how to work efficiently. The sandwich, when it did finally arrive was good.
