The first time I ate here I was absolutely blown away with how perfectly everything was fried, golden, crisp, low grease, just perfect. The people there are fantastic too! One time my partner and I where pulling out and someone chased us almost into the road to give us two spring rolls that were forgotten. Lol two spring rolls were definitely not worth that trouble, but it definitely made us smile.
We came in there to get lunch for me my hubby and my kids. Hubby tried to ask for real cooked veggies. They misunderstand us. Marked his food. Hubby only eats once day. 9pm that night he is having horrible stomach smasims. 4 days later he still suffering stomic smasim even with an ER visit with meds. We know it came from that food......we could have been your biggest customer with the way he likes places.
Everyone at my work said this was the best Chinese that they had eaten. So I decided to try it out and honestly all I can say is it's okay. The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and hard. Lomein had way to much garlic and for the price, I had hoped for at least a few fortune cookies. The girl at the counter, I'm guessing was probably twelve and her younger brother had to point out where the soy sauce was. Like I said okay...Chengs is still my favorite.
The food was AWESOME! It is now our favorite place for Chinese takeout. Best sweet n sour shrimp I've ever had. Fried rice could use work, but I'm not there for that. The egg roll was good. My husband and daughter were both happy with their General Tso's chicken. My husband said the shrimp egg roll was good, too. There are a few tables if you want to sit in and eat, but the storefront, overall, was dirty and grimy. The very young girl who took our order was polite, and the man who brought our order out also was.
Food is good. Use to like ordering here but lately it's no good when it comes to what you get. They now add rice or noodles to the main dishes which effectively cut the amount you use to get in half. Thanks shrinkflation.
