Railway - Brunswick

I had the pleasure of visiting Hotel Railway on Wednesday night. Having a cocktail in the front bar as I waited for my husband was the perfect start. The bar was light, great atmosphere, and the drink was made to perfection! The Food! Wow! We tried a number of the options. The clear standouts for me were the Fried Cauliflower, the Cured Duck Breast and as a main the Spiced Lamb Shoulder highly recommend you give that a go! The team were welcoming, friendly and should be commended! We will definitely be back!

Great new pub in Brunswick and we loved the beer garden. Burger was really good. Worth a visit if your a local wanting a new place to eat!

The recently reopened and reimagined Hotel Railway in Brunswick was a delightful experience for my husband and me. After observing the transformation of this historical gem over the past few years, we had the pleasure of indulging in a Greek banquet. For $65 per person, the chef served an array of delicious entrees, mains, and desserts. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself has been beautifully restored, featuring various dining areas and spots to enjoy different beverages. We can’t wait to return!

The atmosphere here is quite different from what you usually find "north of the river." It feels a bit out of place, but it's definitely not unpleasant. Hats off to the new owners for revitalizing this charming old venue and giving it the attention it deserves. It would be fantastic if they can bring the upper levels back into use as planned.

I also want to commend the staff for their attentive and friendly service; you can really tell they take pride in their work. A special shoutout to Kenzo at the bar—he was fantastic! I highly recommend checking this place out. I'll certainly be returning, probably next week! Plus, it's great to know that it's pet-friendly for both dogs and cats!
