Mudcat Charlie's - Brunswick

Picked Mudcat Charlie's for a family gathering. As always, the food was excellent and our server was outstanding. Most of us had fried shrimp always a great choice. A couple had steak both were cooked to perfection! The drinks were great can't forget those. If you have never been to Mudcat Charlie's, you need to try it YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!

We enjoyed a delightful appetizer lunch. My husband and I shared crab balls, alligator tail, and mahi tacos, accompanied by sweet potato fries. For just $35, the meal was incredibly filling and absolutely delicious! I think this might be the best alligator tail I've ever tasted! The service was excellent, and the food was top-notch, all while enjoying a beautiful view of the dock. We will definitely be returning!

Best find in the Brunswick area! While the seafood is good, their BURGERS are out of this world. I was not expecting to be so impressed with this place, but their burgers are outrageously delicious. They also have excellent dessert and a good bar selection with friendly staff.

When I inquired about the grilled fish, I was informed it was a local catch. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name, but it was definitely sourced from nearby waters, as I had never heard of it before. When my dish arrived, it was beautifully seasoned and served on a soft hoagie roll, complete with homemade tartar and cocktail sauces for dipping. It also came with extremely fresh romaine lettuce and ripe tomatoes. I’m eager to return and find out what that fish was so I can order it again. If you find yourself in the Brunswick area and have some time to enjoy deliciously fresh seafood, make sure to stop by Mudcat Charlie's. You won't be disappointed!

We stopped for a bite of lunch on the way home. Found this place online (google maps) and it looked right up my alley! I wasn’t disappointed. Beer was ice cold, fish was cooked perfectly, and the wait staff were great! Don’t let the exterior scare you, it’s a great find. Clearly, the locals love it, and I saw the occasional boat tie up and come in for lunch!
