Island Jerk Jamaican - Brunswick

We make it a habit to try new non-chain restaurants for our anniversary. Sometimes it's a hit. Sometimes it's a miss. This place was a trip to the upper deck! Service was super friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were more than generous. We are so happy that we did not go to an overpriced fancy restaurant where they serve Elf food. If you're in Brunswick, you have to stop and enjoy Island Jerk.

This place was awesome as usual. I chose to get the large trio sampler plate. This is definitely enough food to have multiple meals. The meats i got were jerk chicken, curry goat and oxtail. it was served with cabbage and rice and beans. Go downtown to Island Jerk and say hi to Mrs B. Your mouth will thank you.

Absolutely fantastic! This was our first visit, and they served us a meat platter to sample all the different meats! I have to say, the meats are divine. The curry is to die for, and the portions are huge! I HIGHLY recommend this place! They also have homemade cakes!

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The sweet, crispy vegetables were a nice touch, and everything was cut into small cubes. We fed three people for just $40. Overall, it was definitely a great choice!
