The service is fast. That?s the one star. The venue was dog eared at best. Everything was worn and ragged including walls and tables. The bathroom was filthy. The sushi was far from fresh and I was concerned about eating some of the pieces. I don?t think reviewers know good sushi, or even mediocre sushi. For two of us the bill was $60 including tip.
This place was something that looked small (attached to a strip of businesses) and probably not a place I would?ve initially been attracted to had a local not suggested it. The inside was small, but the wait was not long and was worth it. There was plenty of outdoor seating available, but we wanted to stay inside, so we chose to wait. They brought out soup and Eddie?s special (crabstick cream cheese) complementary. I?ve been craving Eddie special ever since we went there. The sushi rolls (Tampa volcano) and teriyaki chicken were also great. Great service. If I lived in the area, I?d be there weekly!!
A quaint little restaurant with great service and delicious food! I crave the Scorpion and Hawaiian rolls...a little spice with my sweet. My kids love the fried Oreos!
This place is a step above gas station sushi. Let me explain why... First, when we called in our order the lady who took it was very rude. She told us they didn't have items when we asked for them to be added to our sushi rolls. They did, we just had to say it in another way for them to understand. Which is the exact reason why they're getting two stars instead of only one. They were able to accommodate our extras added to the sushi. It was done in 15 minutes however when I got there to pick it up, I walked in and felt like they were more confused than I was when I said that I was picking up food. Nothing kind or warming about there greeting. Now, onto the food, very little taste. The house salad is a joke, it is literally lettuce with a little bit of dressing that has no flavor. As you can see in the picture, it is not worth $2.75. The sushi was of decent flavor( when I say decent I am comparing to it's lower gas station counterpart), however it fell apart on pickup, rice didn't even stay on the seaweed from the outside, they are extremely small size sushi rolls for the price and I don't know if I will get sick from it or not. If you needed a picture of the sushi for me to show you, just think about the effort in the salad and imagine it in sushi form. There are definitely better places in the Brunswick area. Waste of time and money.
Absolutely delicious! The prices were great and the wait for food wasn't long. They start you off with appetizer called Eddie's Special and soup. I had Hibachi chicken. My friend had a California sushi roll with added crab meat and avocado. The service was excellent!
