We have been loyal customers of Amatos for years and absolutely love it. However, we've recently experienced issues with our orders not being fulfilled as requested. My family is a big fan of the buffalo chicken pizza, but we don’t like blue cheese, so we always ask for it to be left off. Tonight, I placed an order online and made sure to note "No Blue Cheese" three times in the remarks. Unfortunately, when we received the pizza, it still had blue cheese on it, rendering it inedible for my husband and son. It's frustrating to think that the chefs either aren't receiving this information or aren't paying attention to it.
At this visit, I noticed three Italians ordered, and honestly, the portions weren't very large this time. The tomatoes were quite mushy and we all thought they tasted off. Despite this, I would still return because every other time, the food has been excellent! This visit, I can only rate it 4 stars. Hopefully, next time it will earn a 5!
I go to pick up my order and the woman behind the counter tweaking hard with remarkable ticks in her movement and speech. When I come home, I open the boxes on the Pazza bread and noticed that it is undercooked, the dough is very limp, no sharp on it all, it also forgets the Marinara sauce that comes standard with these. It wasn't important that I took a bite and spit it out and threw it in the garbage, my dog wasn't even interested. The Italians with the order looked like a 6 years old they made, too thick chopped vegetables, chaotic arrangement and went on board on the oil that made the bread a soggy mess, also garbage. I ordered Chinese food instead. I'll never order from Brunswick-Amatos again. The workforce is not only skeptical, but useless in the right food preparation.
Now we're talking, when I come home, this is my first stop; even before I see family. I always get 6 real Italians. These real Italians have loads of vegetables, I think they put a whole tomato on the Italian, and the pickles are to die for. I give this Italian sub joint five stars, because it truly is a gem. Oh yeah, don't forget to get a whoopie pie; they have many flavors and are the bomb.
