Being used to the average American style deep dish pizza, I was expecting an oily doughy pizza but I was pleasantly surprised. The crust is crispy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside with excellent quality toppings, the pizza was very delicious! Totally recommend to anyone who is in the area.
One of my most favourite places I always go to when I visit Italy. Pizzas are delicious, gnocco fritto is amazing. Beer served in the ceramic cups is delicious too. They used to serve Augustiner beer before which was really the top of the best. However they are still serving different varieties of beers. The location is cosy. I love it.
My cousins treated us to something totally new.....gnocco fritto! Not what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff seated us (10 of us) in the back room and we were initially the only ones there, but it quickly filled up. They had the TV on playing music videos, but my cousin requested they switch to watch the Palio live, but unfortunately, the reception was poor. The gnocco fritto (5 platters) came out and the they were hot and tasty. I asked how we should eat them and was told, any way you want! Filled them with the prosciutto and cheese and other meats. They also gave us fried olives....something new, again! Desserts varied and I tried the tartufo nero without the coffee liqueur. Yummy, but without the chocolate shell. Service was very accommodating for such a large group!
I was in this restaurant with a group of friends. pizza always big now I went for several years and the always higher quota for my geese. friendly staff and prices in line with the current market. great choice of beers some but good! soon!
Local with intimate atmosphere, good pizza at sunset, delicious fried dumpling, superior waitress and very kind staff
